Began his career in M&A at Rothschild before moving to a corporate finance boutique in Mayfair.

Hamel helped to build out the UK & Ireland investment pipeline for The Collective. During his tenure at The Collective, Hamel facilitated the acquisition of over 3,000 beds, delivery of 1,000 beds and deployed and raised over £300m of capital on behalf of The Collective.

Launched Candour Properties in 2021, a new London based real estate development and investment company who have originated a portfolio totalling 600 units with a projected GDV of £250m
